The Karman Blade #1 Ashcan Promo is an exclusive, highly limited preview comic book published by Image Comics to drum up anticipation for an upcoming epic dark fantasy miniseries.

Concept & Series Premise

The ashcan offers a first-look preview into a dying world hoarded by a tyrant deity:

The Plot: A young man living on the bleak outskirts of a crumbling planet is chosen by a mystical blade forged entirely out of stars.
The Mission: He is tasked to pick up the weapon, slay the despotic god Kalu, and free the vital water supply held captive in his kingdom.
The Catch: Before he can embark on his world-saving journey, the boy must face his own inner demons and firmly answer the weapon's cosmic query: "Art thou he, who taketh me in hand? Art thou he… who shall slay a God?"
