Join us for signings with comic artists, writers, movie/TV celebrities and special guests. Most times, we even have limited stock of signed comics and novelty items leftover from the event in case you can’t make it. We also run an Annual Zombie Walk in October, Free Comic Book Day in May, Make Music Day in June, Cosplay Karaoke, live reads of comics, stand-up comedy nights and so many more events! Plus, we’re always coming up with new and creative ways to bring folks together!

Robot Monster, the 1950s camp classic sci-fi movie, gets a whole new life in the recently released, first ever 3D graphic novel anthology!
Thirty artists and writers have teamed up to create new stories in the Robot Monster universe. The 64-page book has a deep bench - you'll recognize names from Archie, DC, Marvel, Mystery Science Theater 3000 and some of your favorite indie books, too. There are even a few up and comers in the mix - and
everything is presented in 3D, just like the original movie.
The book sold out after a successful Kickstarter and was even the subject of a panel at San Diego Comic-Con last summer. Come see what all the excitement is about.
We'll have the creative team on hand to sign copies along with some of their other works from 3pm-5pm.
THEN! Join everyone across the street at the Clairidge Theater for a SPECIAL ONE DAY ONLY movie showing (6pm start) with a Q&A featuring Paul Castiglia (Editor Robot Monster Comics in 3D, Archie Comics, Marvel, DC), Bob Furmanek (film restorer and historian), and Carl Scheckel (Contributing writer Robot Monster Comics in 3D), moderated by Harold Buchholz (Writer & Executive Producer of MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000).

Indie Arts Montclair’s first big event of
2026 will be Montclair Zine Fest!
We will once again partner with East Side Mags, but will also include two new supporters, Powerhouse Tattoo and Just Kidding Around!
Montclair Zine Fest will also now be a two-day event. We will be at Fletcher Hall on Saturday March 28th (same location as last year), and this year we will hold a second day on Sunday March 29th at Keep Creating in Lackawanna Plaza.
Both events will feature Zinesters, artists, and workshops, and Saturday will include live music and spoken word. The event will be free to attend.
