Punk Taco Adventures Signing

Saturday, February 28, 2026
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

East Side Mags (map)

OMG! It's our 2 favorite things in one graphic novel!

PUNK! and TACOS!

Adam Wallenta brings his new Punk Taco series to East Side Mags along with his son / artist Makana!

The 1st series won a Ringo Award in 2019 for Best Kids Comic or Graphic Novel along with a Kids Comics Award for Best Sci-Fi or Fantasy Book. But don't take our word for it:

“Punk Taco is a fun, intergalactic action-adventure story full of the kind of love and optimism you’ll definitely want to upload into the brain of any kid you care about.” CHRIS GIARRUSSO, Harvey Award-Nominated Artist/Writer of G-Man, Mini Marvels, and Encounter

“It’s a kind of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure meets Axe Cop. Punk Taco is a book that validates childrens’ emotions in these turbulent times. It's okay to be upset and angry over the injustices of the world, and channeling those feelings into something active is a good way to manage them.” — KELLY SUE DECONNICK, 2014 Eisner-Award Nominated Writer of Pretty Deadly and Captain Marvel

“Imagination is so punk rock! Bold line work, crisp layouts and colorful characters that you can’t NOT fall in love with. Adam Wallenta’s PUNK TACO will be your new favorite series. I wish this existed when I was a kid! Read PUNK TACO!” — JAMAR NICHOLAS, Creator of the LEON the Extraordinary series

Spaceballs: The Table Read

Saturday, February 28, 2026
7:30 PM - 8:30 PM

East Side Mags (map)

Get ready to move your Schwartz over to East Side Mags in Montclair, NJ, on Saturday, February 28th at 7:30 PM for SPACEBALLS: THE TABLE READ!

Witness the cinematic event of the century—or at least the cheapest one this month—as we perform the entire script with all the budget of a cardboard box and twice the enthusiasm.

Performed by an all star cast of amateurs, this "special edition" table read features live performers, zero CGI, and more tongue-in-cheek Hollywood bashing than a producer's therapy session. It’s fast, it’s funny, and it’s the only place where you can see the epic saga of Druidia without paying for a $25 popcorn bucket.

Admission is free, but we’re doing it for the one thing that truly matters: MOICHANDISING!
