East Side Mags and Dungeons on the Go are bringing another awesome homebrew Dungeons & Dragons campaign, written by NEW Dungeon Master Jack Neugebauer!

This is FORBIDDEN LANDS (ALL AGES, INTRO) and consists of THREE TOTAL EPISODES. 

About FORBIDDEN LANDS: Can you rebuild in this ruined land? The Forbidden Lands were ruined by the Blood Mist, but many adventurers have journeyed north, determined to build new settlements in this savage land. Gather your courage, brave the harsh elements, and explore the dangerous corners of this land.

The dates are:

4/6 - 3pm-5pm

4/13 - 3pm-5pm

4/27 - 3pm-5pm

Entry to ALL dates is $75.

East Side Mags and Dungeons on the Go are bringing another awesome homebrew Dungeons & Dragons campaign, written by Dungeon Master Jack Neugebauer!

This is FORBIDDEN LANDS (ADULTS) and consists of FOUR TOTAL EPISODES. 

About FORBIDDEN LANDS: A new adventure lies ahead! For 300 years, the Forbidden Lands have been blanketed in a deadly fog. Stories of war, treasures, demons, and strongholds have passed into legend. But now, the Blood Mist is beginning to clear. For the first time, outsiders can venture into this wild landscape. Prepare your expedition and enter the Forbidden Lands! Explore a hex-based map packed with dungeons, castles, and random encounters, and gather resources to endure the harsh elements. Build a stronghold to defend yourselves against the dangerous monsters that lurk in the woods and deep caves. Befriend the factions that fight for control of this dangerous land. Will your expedition end in failure, or will your story pass on into legend, as well? This adventure will use the tabletop rules for Forbidden Lands; character creation will be done together, and the players will have a chance to add their own legends to the setting as the story begins!

The dates are:

3/6 (Thursday) - 7pm-9pm

About ON THE HIGH SEAS: After stealing a ship from the Skeleton Crew, the high seas await. The god of chaos has hidden powerful treasures across the seas, and a legendary treasure map leads the way. Will you find the map and discover ancient powers? Or will you capsize in a dangerous storm? A third level adventure for Dungeons and Dragons!

Matt Miner & Rich Douek Signing

We’re BACK to signings and what better way to bring it back with two of our best friends in the world of comics!

Remember Matt Miner? He wrote some bangers like Toe Tag Riot, Gwar Orgasmageddon, Critical Hit and Lab Raider. Matt’s love of comics, animals and music are consistently fused together in his writing and his catalogue proves it. He also runs a shelter for pit bulls and is one of the nicest people we have ever gotten to work with since opening the shop. It’s only fitting that he is one of our first creators back in our new space for our first signing of 2022. Now his newest hit - POSER - is collected in trade paperback and we’ve got copies!

About POSER: Long thought to be an urban legend in the underground music scene of Redondo Beach, Poser is back to carve a gory slash through the heart of the Los Angeles South Bay! Collecting the complete four issue mini-series for the first time, Poser upends traditional slasher tropes and gives horror fans something new and exciting to talk about for years to come!

We also have local legend, Montclair-resident and all around fun guy Rich Douek! Rich has been a fan of ours since we opened in 2014 which is great cuz we’re a SUPER HUGE fan of his too! Rich has more than a few awesome series under his belt including Sea of Sorrows, Road of Bones, Happy Hill and even did some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stories and a Superman story in the recent Superman Red & Blue anthology series. Now Rich’s newest creation - THE OCEAN WILL TAKE US - is here with issue #1 and we’ve got plenty of copies for him to vandalize with his signature!
