Ok. So check THIS out. We have the distinct honor of hosting a MASSIVE signing revolving around an anthology book about NJ that doesn’t just include comics but also essays, interviews and more from an eclectic group of New Jerseyans!
We’ll have SIX contributors in-store (plus the editor) who will be ready to sign copies and talk about their contribution to the book, their inspirations and favorite things about NJ:
Alexandra Beguez is an illustrator and cartoonist who weaves together images, text, and a bit of whimsy to explore complex ideas. Her work has appeared in The Nib, The Believer Magazine, and Guantanamo Voices, among others. She has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, 3x3, Creative Quarterly, and Latin American Ilustración.
Mike Dawson is the author of "The Fifth Quarter'' series and several other graphic novels. His work has been nominated for multiple Eisner and Ignatz Awards, as well as the Slate Cartoonists Studio Prize. He lives at the Jersey Shore with his wife and children.
Frankie Huang is a Chinese American writer and illustrator who focuses on telling diaspora stories across mediums. She is, among other things, a proud Rutgers alumni and Jersey girl.
Dan Misdea is a cartoonist from the great state of New Jersey. His work has appeared in The New Yorker, Air Mail, The Weekly Humorist and elsewhere. His first picture book “The Light Inside” is scheduled for release in 2023 with Penguin Workshop.
Kat Schneider is an illustrator and comics artist currently livin', workin' and daydreamin' in New Jersey with her cat Lou. She has contributed work to The New York Times, The Washington Post, and others.
Whit Taylor is an Ignatz Award-winning cartoonist and comics editor. Her work has been published by The New Yorker, Washington Post, The Nib, and others. She is from Madison, but now lives in Maplewood with her husband, baby, and two cats.
Kerri Sullivan is the founder of Jersey Collective (@jerseycollective), one of New Jersey's most popular Instagram accounts, with over 30,000 followers. Her writing has appeared in McSweeney's, Podcast Review, The Billfold, and elsewhere. She is from Monmouth County but currently lives in North Jersey.
