Due to the implementation of Executive Order 107 – the closure of “non-essential” businesses has regretfully pushed us to shutter our doors to the public but FEAR NOT! Like all great super-heroes, we are digging in and fighting the good fight to keep the comic book goodness flowing!

As of today, March 21, 2020 – East Side Mags will remain “open” during limited hours (10am-5pm, every day except Monday) but our door will be locked. We will be here taking orders and offering curbside pickup or shipping if needed.

Here are the ways you can place an order:

Once you’ve sent your order in, we WILL RESPOND with confirmation that our order is ready to be picked but your order is not finalized yet. We WILL REQUIRE PAYMENT IN ADVANCE before we can finalize any order. Payment can be sent via

  • PayPal

  • Venmo

  • Credit card

Details on how to send payment will be provided once we have your stuff ready. Once payment is received and clear, we will either have your order ready for pick up or will ship it out to you within 48 hours of finalization.  Tracking numbers can be provided for shipping and rates vary but orders over $50 ship free!

 A SPECIAL MESSAGE REGARDING COVID-19 FROM (March 16, 2020)

YOUR FRIENDLY, NEIGHBORHOOD COMIC SHOP:

We know it’s a little nuts out there with COVID-19 cases on the rise so we want to reassure everyone that we're still here for you and if you find yourself, your loved ones or your kids with extra free time and need to keep busy – we’ve got thousands of comics for you to read!

Rest assured, we are doing everything we can to keep this place clean and germ-free. Some things we’re doing:

  • Using disinfecting wipes to wipe down counters, the register, computers, the credit card machine, door handles, tables & chairs as well as other surfaces that people may come into contact with during a visit

  • As employees, we are regularly washing our hands and using gloves if/when needed. We have gloves for you too if you want them!

  • We have wipes and hand sanitizer available if you want a squirt or would rather wipe down a chair or surface yourself! Just ask!

As far as the store goes, we are not planning on going anywhere, anytime soon. We will be open regular hours and regular days. If you’re concerned about crowds, our quieter days are typically Tuesdays and Thursdays and sometimes Fridays – especially during the daytime hours. Feel free to come by during those times for a quieter experience with less hustle & bustle.

Still not sure you want to come in? We are starting to offer curbside pickup and shipping services! Give us a call, we can take your order over the phone along with a credit card number and we can bundle it up and have it ready for you asap or at a time that is convenient for you.

Please note you MUST CALL to get your order processed. Please be prepared to give us a credit card over the phone as this will ensure your order is confirmed and ready to pick up or ship out. Shipping rates may vary based on weight and/or speed of delivery. All charges will be communicated to you in full at the time of placing the order.
