On November 1, 2014, East Side Mags is proud to host Paul Castiglia (Writer) and Fernando Ruiz (Artist) of Archie's Weird Mysteries! Come say hello and meet the minds behind some of Archie's strangest adventures!
Paul has held the position of editor and/or writer on a number of great series including, but not limited to, Archie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures and Sonic the Hedgehog. A local guy, born in Passaic, NJ, Paul has been the head writer for all 34 issues of Archie's Weird Mysteries/Archie's Mysteries.
Fernando was a graduate of Caldwell College (another local guy) then attended the Kubert School in 1991 where he now teaches future and budding artists! Having worked in toy design, book illustration and story boarding, he currently writes and draws for Archie Comics (Archie, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Betty & Veronica Spectacular and Archie's Weird Mysteries).
Both gentlemen will be signing copies of their work and Fernando will have free pencil sketches available per customer. Prints will be available as well for $20 each.
The appearance will take place on November 1, 2014 from 2pm-4pm.
